Welcome! The Homestead Preschool is opening fall of 2022, and we are accepting registrations for our Monday-Friday, 9-3 program. We will fill up quickly, so please give us a call at 210-722-7849 today! The first seven registrations will not pay a supply fee which is a savings of $50!
Hello, my name is Kathy Lampe. I am a Texas certified public-school educator. My program is not a daycare, but a learning, playing, and happy preschool environment. The licensing process is underway, and we will be good to go for mid-September. The ages of registering children are 4-5 years old.
The school building has finally arrived here in Castroville, and we have a lot of work to do! We cannot wait to fill our school with smiling preschoolers! Our enrollment is small because a comfortable class size allows for stronger relationship building, and a higher-quality learning environment. I majored in Early Childhood education and minored in Special Education. I have been a teacher in San Antonio and Medina County for more than 15 years.
The Christian curriculum is focused on strong values, outdoor exploration, kindergarten content preparedness, and social/emotional learning. I believe that children need to experience the wonders of nature, build positive relationships, become good human beings, love themselves, and one another. Of course, none of that is possible without God. When they are happy and relaxed in their school environment, the learning happens without stress or anxiety. The world offers us plenty of that as we grow up.
I hope that you will consider The Homestead Preschool for your child, and I look forward to hearing from you!
Thank you.
Kathy
